What is Citizen Dog? Citizen Dog stands for brotherhood. It stands for and encompasses the bruised state of your mind, the neighbourhood you live in and the world we survive in.

All this and more.

It's the sound of the streets where you live growing wings and flying, sprouting fists and fighting.

Essentially a rock band with a tip to the past and an eye to the future, they play a hybrid of old school rock and metal, with one foot in the garage and the other in the stadiums...one ear on AC/DC, the other on Funkadelic.

Citizen Dog is a gang of sounds, a thrash-around, do-what-you-want, set-your-mind-on-fire beast that follows no rules, adheres to no agenda. It is D-Man, Iv, Ronnie and Marky Mark - a schoolboy friendship that allows the unfettered, uninhibited exploration of music through love, life and an undying belief in the healing and almighty life force of the power chord.

They have spread their wings considerably across this country....From St Kilda to Yamba, Coffs to Tamworth, Thredbo to Hobart. The Dogs have barked, scrapped and rocked out in the darkest corners of Wagga, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and Tasmania.

They have released a debut album - the urban-elic 'Urbanology' and 2 EP's 'Citizen Dog' and 'Arise'.

Urbanology's 'Get Up' and 'All Good' received warm reviews and massive airplay on Sydney Radio station, NOVA 96.9FM. FBI Radio and 2SER FM also featured the boys performing songs from the album live in the studio.

Celebrated Australian Music Journalist Kath McCabe called them "...a band to watch out for," in her weekly Sunday Telegraph column. The word is out...the Dogboys are coming.
